A@M Concepts

The first concept in A@M that I found particularly important was a strong thesis statement surprises readers with something new or challenging. I agree that the thesis statement is one of the most important sentences in a story or essay. The thesis provides information in a very concise sentence. The thesis should capture the writer and should provide a quick interesting fact fact about the paper ahead. Another concept worth sharing is how a good writer uses exploratory strategies to think critically about subject-matter questions. Questions are what builds a lot of papers, coming up with new ways to explore those questions starts a path of logical thinking. Thinking critically and subjectively is a great way to devise a paper. Last concept worth noting is how good writers write for a purpose to an audience within a genre. A good writer should always change their writer styles to adapt to certain genre. The writer should strive for a creepy eerie feel if it is a horror story. A paper with a lot of detail, humor, love, passion and complex characters in a romance. A good writer has the ability to change its story to better fit a specific genre or category. My ideas of writing have changed after reading these insightful concepts. I learned a good writer should always try to adapt its style of writing to fit the genre, not always write in the same style. I have also learned that the thesis is one of the most important pieces in a story. The thesis should be carefully constructed and well defined to be explain the story.
